Help
Five minutes from sign-in to a finished brief. If you only read one of these, read step 3 — that's where the leverage is.
Quick start
Click Login on the home page and pick your Google account. We use Google sign-in so your library stays tied to a single account — no separate password to remember.
From the Videos screen, drag a file in or click to pick one. Any standard video format works — MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV — at any reasonable size. We generate a smooth 720p preview while the upload finishes, so playback feels snappy.
Scrub the timeline, pause where it matters, and write a note. The note saves with a frame-accurate HH:MM:SS.mmm stamp — your editor scrubs back to the exact second instead of guessing at "around 0:42-ish".
With a note open, switch to the pen tool and sketch right on the picture — circle a face, mark a crop, point at a typo. Four colours, an eraser, undo. The drawing saves with the note so the text and the picture travel together.
Group related videos into a project, write a high-level project brief once, and click Share to generate a tokenized read-only link. Send it to your editor — no account needed on their end. They can preview what they'll see at the For editors page.
If a link leaks or you just want a fresh one, rotate it from the share menu — the old link stops working immediately. Revoke entirely when the brief is finished and you want it private again. Both actions are one click and instant.
Troubleshooting
Most upload failures come from a flaky connection or a browser tab going to sleep. Try a wired connection (or a stable Wi-Fi), keep the tab in focus, and retry. If the file is genuinely huge and your link is slow, consider trimming to the rough cut you actually want briefed.
We stream the 720p preview, not the master, so playback should be smooth on most connections. If it's not, try refreshing once — the preview may still be encoding from a recent upload. Give it a minute and try again.
There's no built-in undo for note deletion today (it's on the roadmap). For now: re-pin a fresh note at the same timestamp and re-write it. The frame-accurate timestamp will line up exactly with where you had it before.
The link was probably rotated or revoked. Open your project, generate a fresh link, and send the new one. If you don't remember rotating it, double-check you sent them the latest URL — old chats often contain stale links.
Delete older briefs you no longer need — that frees up space immediately (the master, the 720p preview, and any share links tied to that video all go together). Premium with 30 GB is on the way; until it launches, deletion is the way to make room. Storage details on the pricing page.
